exploring the anchoring truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn,
opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and
lonely as ministers of the new covenant. Each of us has a message to proclaim and live by: Because of Jesus
the old has gone, the new has come.

For Evening Banquet’s second book of the semester, Lysa TerKeurst will explore the seven I AM statements of Jesus

  • The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer

    Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:00 pm / Starting January 17
    Room 364 / Cost $15
All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of
your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your
mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his
battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. The Enemy always fails miserably when he
meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, is an action plan for putting it on and developing
a personalized strategy to secure victory.

Thursdays

  • The Well Bible Study

What Love Is: The Letters of 1,2,3 John by Kelly Minter

    Room 303 / Cost $15
The letters of 1, 2, & 3 John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth.
Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth
versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and
community rather than shallowness. This study reveals not only the heart of John but also the heart of Jesus.
