Baptismal Banners

A volunteer creates a personalized banner as a gift to each baby receiving baptism at Northside Church. Gretchen Crawford is the volunteer coordinator.

Care Cards

Each week a volunteer comes to mail Care Notes and You Made a Difference Notes written by church members to others. Lea Ann Larsen is the volunteer coordinator. One Year Anniversary of Loss cards are sent to those who have lost loved ones.

Northside Connections

Our goal in Pastoral Care Ministry is to connect Northside members who do not attend worship services and other ministry opportunities as often as they did in the past. We want everyone to feel the caring spirit at Northside. We stay in touch by sending monthly seasonal cards, individual birthday cards, phone calls and visits.

Pastor On Call

If an emergency occurs when the church offices are closed (after 5:00PM during the week or on the weekend), you may call the church office (404.355.6475); then listen for the prompts or press #8 to leave a message. A Pastor on Call will contact you.

Food Addicts

Food Addicts is a 12 Step Program for food addiction. This program encourages a healthy way of eating, which is sustainable for life, combined with a spiritual solution to the issues that drive our unhealthy eating. Kaki Spencer is the volunteer coordinator.

Northside Cooking Ministry Team

This group meets once a month on the 2nd Thursday at 9:15AM to make and cook casseroles, soups and cookies. The cooking is done in our church kitchen by people of all ages. If you are interested in more information or you want to volunteer, email Ron Wyche at ronwyche@bellsouth.net.

Food Delivery Team

This group delivers the food that has been cooked by the Cooking Ministry Team to persons who’ve recently had losses, illness, new births, etc. Requests may come from family, individuals, Sunday School classes, Pastors, etc. Food Deliverers deliver meals several times a year.
