Program Overview
- Each semester we offer a variety of Bible studies for women of all ages and stages of life. Our Bible studies serve as a way for women in our church to build comminty through information and encouragement. Many of our studies meet in homes, this provides a warm and nurturing environment to study God’s word.
- The United Methodist Women is a group of Northside members dedicated to helping women and children in the Atlanta area, nationally, and throughout the world. UMW members monthly meet in small groups called Circles. Northside UMW Circles are part of a larger group, including the Atlanta College Park District and the national UMW. We have daytime and evening Circles for all ages of women in the church. On the fourth Tuesday of every month, the UMW provides and serves lunch at the Action Ministries Community Kitchen. There are four meetings during the year that bring all the Circles together: Spring and Fall Service, as well as the Baby Celebration Service and the Christmas Communion Service.
