Prayer Note Ministry

About 40 members are on Northside Church’s Prayer Note Ministry Team. These members sign up to go to the chapel to pray for those who are listed on our Prayer Request List. Personal notes are then hand written and mailed. Recipients are so grateful to know that they were lifted in prayer.

 

Prayer Request List Team

Each week about 30 members faithfully pray from home for those who are on our Prayer Request List.

 

Prayer Partners

Pastoral Care has wonderful Prayer Partners who meet weekly to pray for all of the concerns and praises of this ministry.

 

Ways to Request Prayer from the Northside family:

• Fill out a Care Card on Sunday morning

• Fill out a card and place in the Prayer Boxes around the Church

At Northside Church we know that God wants us to be workers in the Vineyard of Prayer. God is calling us to great spiritual growth as we are drawn to pray for our church, our community, our country, and our world.

You are invited to a guided time of collective prayer, scripture, and silence on Thursdays from 8:00 to 8:30AM in the Prayer Chapel. This special time of prayer will be led by Northside Church members Jean Young and Anne Landers. Also, a monthly prayer and scripture sheet will be available for you to pick up in the Prayer Chapel.

If you cannot make it to the Prayer Chapel for the guided time of prayer, monthly prayer focus information will be printed on the bulletin insert, so that you may join our church family and community in fervently lifting your petitions to the very One who hears the desires of every heart.
