Adventure is out there! Joshua 1:9
4th & 5th graders are invited to join us Created by God
Mandatory Parent Meeting (at least one adult must attend, choose just one of these two dates to attend) –
Sunday, January 21 – 8:30 AM Chapel
OR Wednesday, January 24 – 5:45 PM Room 152
Students –
Friday, January 26 – 6PM to 9PM (dinner included) Fellowship Hall
and Saturday, January 27 – 9AM to 2PM (lunch included) Fellowship Hall
Students and Parents –
Saturday, January 27 – 2PM to 3PM Fellowship Hall
4th & 5th Graders please join us for Created by God, a study of human sexuality with a Christian foundation. It will offer both parents and students an opportunity to learn, grow, and celebrate the fact that we have each been wonderfully created by God and are called to responsible living as sexual beings. This is a weekend event where accurate information and proper terminology can be gained, and the young persons participating will better understand how their sexuality fits into God’s plan for human relationships. Perhaps most importantly, this program opens the gateway of conversation between parent and child.
The fee for this event is $60, covering the cost of the Created By God book & supplies, meals and snacks, and leadership. We hope you will save-the-date and make plans now to attend. Registration is required for the event and will be available online. This event is open to all who are interested in a church-based study of adolescence and puberty–so feel free to invite friends, neighbors, and other family members.
Registration opens on November 1 and closes on January 8.
Space is limited, so please be aware that if registration fills it may close early and we will begin a wait list.
